If your booking is for a noho marae, please note below and bring to the attention of your participants.
At significant cost, Te Taumutu Rūnanga has invested in a purpose-designed, environmentally sustainable wastewater system that filters waste through to an onsite eco-trench. To protect the integrity and performance of this system, all whānau and manuhiri (visitors) must use organic, chlorine-free cleaning and personal hygiene products.
Any visiting manuhiri with pēpi/tamariki wearing disposal nappies are required to take the used nappies home for disposal. They are NOT to be deposited into our rubbish receptacles.
